Ms. Maria Teresa Tacay Jumalon of Buenavista, Guimaras, who is presently working as a caregiver in Jerusalem, expressed her appreciation to the Embassy and the GSFCC for conducting the consular outreach mission in Jerusalem. “I am grateful that the Embassy came and offered their services for us OFWs in Jerusalem. Going to the Embassy in Tel Aviv is a bit hard for me since I only have a few hours to spare because of my work. I am happy to be able to apply for my passport and register for the overseas voting.”

Based on the Embassy’s records, more than 3,000 Filipinos are based in Jerusalem.

The Embassy aims to provide its consular services through conducting more outreach missions in several cities in Israel in view of the 25% increase in the deployment of Filipinos to Israel last year. END
