"WE ARE COMING!" Israeli Travelers bullish about Philippine Tourism after Yolanda

26 November 2013 Tel Aviv, State of Israel.  The Philippine-Israel Tourism Chamber headed by pioneering Israeli travel agency flyeast ltd. held the first travel seminar about the Philippines after Yolanda for Israeli tourists confirmed to travel to the country between the last quarter of 2013 to the first quarter of 2014.

More than 40 tourists ranging from honeymooners to after-army travelers were given briefings by flyeast and Philippine Embassy representatives on selected tourist destinations such as Manila, Laguna, Batad, Baguio, Boracay, Palawan and Bohol.

The Embassy representative opened the travel seminar by mentioning the Israeli contribution to the international relief operations in the Philippines after Typhoon Yolanda and assured the travelers that country remains open for business and leisure despite the recent weather disturbance.

Most inquiries during and after the seminar were about diving and accommodation options, medical services available for tourists and general weather conditions in the country.

The well-attended travel seminar is considered by flyeast ltd. as proof of the resiliency of the Philippine tourism industry and the upbeat appreciation of the country as the next destination in Asia for Israeli market. --END--
