Tel Aviv PE Strives for Excellence in Customer Service

22 November 2013 Tel Aviv, State of Israel - In line with the Philippine Embassy's mandate to deliver excellent and efficient service to the public, all Tel Aviv PE officers and staff, led by Ambassador Generoso D.G. Calonge, attended Customer Service Training on 22 November 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Chancery in Tel Aviv.

The training was conducted by Second Secretary and Consul Greg Marie C. Mariño and covered topics such as the concept of customer service, common customer service issues, methods for effective communication and establishing good relationships with Embassy clients, among others. A simulation activity on various office scenarios was also held, allowing Embassy personnel to apply skills learned during the training, assess cases and recommend approaches to different situations.

The Philippine Embassy organizes trainings and seminars for its personnel on a regular basis for purposes of career development and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills in the performance of their duties, thus making the Embassy's service to the public more efficient and customer-friendly. -- END --
